My Academic Profile

My name is Ahmad Fareed Ismail and I was born on the 3 April 1981 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I am passionate in discovering new knowledge especially related to hospitality, tourism and the Internet. I received my PhD in e-Business and Internet Marketing from Murdoch University, Western Australia. My PhD research investigates a new model of "Successful Internet Implementation" especially in the tourism and hospitality context- specifically among the Destination Management Organisations (DMO) of 191 countries.
My current research interests include: internet marketing adoption and implementation, e-marketing sustainability, e-tourism, Food internet of things (IOT), social media marketing, technology diffusion, food tourism, electrronic entrepreneurship, e-commerce, e-learning, experience based learning ooutcomes and many more.
